In 2023, we then introduced the latest conceptual development. Our content, which was previously only available through a subscription membership, is also available for individual purchase since mid-year. Thus, TutKit.com offers a combination of subscription and e-commerce with new weekly content produced or licensed by us. As of July 2023, TutKit.com has over 800 products with tens of thousands of individual contents related to tutorials, assets, and design templates. 2015 ### TutKit.com – our content available for full access as a flat rate A subscription with full access to all our shop content?! We have been asked about this now and then. That’s how we started in 2015 as a streaming provider for our video training and download flat rate for templates and assets. TutKit.com became our subscription commerce platform, and since then, our customers have had the opportunity to access our video tutorials, assets, and design templates through a membership. From the very beginning, it was a successful model that quickly convinced hundreds to thousands of interested parties. 2010 ### 4eck Media – the leap into the agency business In 2010, we founded 4eck Media GmbH & Co. KG and entered the agency business. A huge advantage for our clients: all the experiences and learnings from our own projects are directly integrated into client projects. Whether it’s graphic design and layout, web design and development, or digital marketing – through our own portals, we know what actually works and we transfer this practical know-how for the success of our clients. From modern one-pagers to extensive online shops, we have since successfully implemented numerous projects for small, medium, and large companies. 2008 ### Online Shop – This is how e-commerce works! Due to the great interest in our video training on PSD-Tutorials.de surrounding Photoshop, InDesign, and Co., we decided to offer the content in our own online shop – our entry into the e-commerce business! Back then, we were still selling DVDs and learned how the marketing, distribution, and sale of “real” products work online. One of our core competencies that we now bring to our clients’ projects: e-commerce. Since 2012, we have been offering the content in digital form for download – the steadily growing product portfolio now includes over 800 items. 2005 ### Commag – pages that keep up with the times With Commag, we created a free online magazine for image editing and web design. What started as a slim e-paper transformed into a more than one-hundred-page e-book, constantly reinventing itself in layout and design. When interest in the format of a PDF magazine waned due to changing consumption habits, we ultimately decided to discontinue it. From a business perspective, it is true that when the effort no longer justifies the benefit, one must let go of even the most beloved passion projects. What remains is a success story of over 10 years with more than 125 issues and up to 10,000 readers per issue. 2002 ### PSD-Tutorials.de – successful from the start On December 20, 2002, Stefan Petri launched PSD-Tutorials.de online, laying the foundation for our digital venture. Over time, more than 850,000 people registered in the specialized forum. After more than 20 years – and many relaunches over the years – PSD-Tutorials.de still represents one of the largest specialized forums for topics related to design, photography, and image editing in the German-speaking world.
