The new website is specifically designed for three central target groups, each with tailored content, elements, and user journeys:

The structured navigation, informative FAQs, and intuitive design help build trust quickly and clear up key questions on the spot. At every point of the website, the call to action is clear: request a brochure or get in touch directly.
  • Students: Teenagers experience the new website as a vibrant, visually strong platform: modern imagery, experience stories, videos, and interactive elements offer a genuine taste of boarding school life. The blog and video sections provide real insights into daily life at the school.
  • Prospective staff: The careers portal impresses with a clear employer-branding voice, benefits, voices from the faculty, and a seamless application process. Importantly, mobile visitors also get all the relevant information at a glance in an optimized layout.

The new WordPress-based website features a modern, elegant layout with a well-considered structure, strong imagery, and emotional sections that engage visitors both visually and in content. Numerous flexibly combinable content blocks create a varied yet harmonious user experience.

The Website Is AI-Ready and Future-Proof

Whether chatbox integration, structured data for AI search results, or clearly marked FAQ sections: the new website is technically prepared for tomorrow’s search landscape. Google and other AI crawlers can now accurately recognize content and display it as featured snippets or in AI Overviews.

Newsletter, FAQ, and Chat: Rethinking Communication

At the bottom of the page, clearly structured FAQ boxes help answer questions directly – while also improving SEO visibility. The newsletter builds closer ties with prospects, while the chat function provides instant contact with the administration on request. Custom, target-group-specific video messages allow us to guide website visitors and invite them to engage. Overall, individual icons as well as illustrations of the campus buildings were created specifically for Schloss Torgelow, along with maps illustrated in line with the corporate design.

Technical Excellence at Launch

This project was our largest client engagement in 2025. We had to handle a CMS migration from Typo3 to WordPress with all the demands for user experience and SEO that come with it – migrating more than 1,100 pages in the process. All images (thousands of them!) were saved in a new resolution, defaulting to either 16:9 or 1:1 ratios. The image format was also switched from the aging JPG/PNG to AVIF/WebP. For each page type, tailored structured data was implemented. The time required for an on-page sprint on a website of this scale should not be underestimated. The site went live with an on-page score of 93%, which is outstanding given the scope of the website.

Of course, accessibility was also implemented from the start.

Without tracking scripts, PageSpeed is very high from the start, over 90 percent on mobile. The inclusion of various tracking scripts such as Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, and Google Tag Manager has brought technical PageSpeed back down slightly through no fault of our own.

Take a look for yourself at Internatsgymnasium Schloss Torgelow. The development paid off twice over for the Lehmann family that operates the school, since the backend of the new website can also be used directly as a WordPress MultiSite architecture for their Kurpfalz-Internat.
