There's nothing better than supporting a satisfied customer again when it's time for the next big step. This was the case with Dr. Felix Handy, specialist dentist for oral surgery in Waren (Müritz), whose original website was already designed by us. This time, we had the exciting task of further developing his old website to focus even more on his specialization in oral surgery and dental implants.
The starting point: specialization in focus
Dr. Handy came to us with the desire to redesign the existing website to focus on his core competencies. As we saw the existing structure of the site as a solid foundation, we decided together to use it and build the whole thing as a multi-site system with WordPress. This allowed us to duplicate the existing site and link the new website to the original WordPress installation as an independent domain.
The result? A seamless extension that draws on tried-and-tested structures while providing space for new, specialized content. In the future, only one system will need to be updated when updating CMS and plugins. The content of both websites can be controlled via one backend. Wonderful!
New: Focused content and comprehensive guides
The new Dr. Handy website is not just a copy of the old one - it is much more. We have completely revised the texts and tailored them to the main areas of oral surgery and dental implantology. In addition, we have created 24 detailed advice pages that provide patients with comprehensive information about dental implants and various surgical procedures. These pages provide valuable information and also contribute to better visibility in search engines. Here you can see the expanded menu with the new topics on oral surgery & dental implants.
Mobile performance and SEO at the highest level
An outstanding feature of the new website is its mobile performance. We know how important it is for a website to function optimally on mobile devices. With an impressive Lighthouse score of 95, the site stands for fast and smooth use on smartphones and tablets. Google in particular has made mobile first the standard. That's why we place a strong focus in our work on ensuring that our customers receive top mobile PageSpeed scores. In this project, we even have the additional difficulty that the first viewport is a video loop, which is a wonderful introduction to the services of the dental practice, but of course also needs to be loaded in a resource-hungry manner. Nevertheless, our PageSpeed optimizations have achieved a fantastic 95 for mobile performance - measured with Lighthouse from Google.
We are not aware of a faster dentist website. We are proud of that!
We also made no compromises when it came to search engine optimization: with the help of the SEO tool from Seobility, we were able to bring the website to an on-page score of 99 and optimize the various subpages for the desired search terms. With a total of 56 pages, the website is still relatively small for the implementation of an effective SEO strategy. In terms of the industry environment, the website is certainly already one of the larger ones. And just a few weeks after the launch, the website is already ranking in the top three positions for various keywords.

It was a pleasure to accompany Dr. Handy on this important step and to create a website that optimally reflects his expertise in oral surgery and implantology. With the new, specialized site, Dr. Handy can not only offer his patients the best treatment options, but also provide a well-founded source of information on all aspects of dental implants and oral surgery.
