Since 2005, owner Lars Pohlmann has run the restaurant, which stands for honest food with regional character: fresh delicacies from the pasture and the lake, and game from the nearby forest, butchered in-house. As part of a repositioning, we reworked the restaurant’s corporate identity: logo, fonts, colors, illustrations, menu, and animated style elements for social media. ### Vectorization of the Albatros DIII as the central style element The special highlight of the new corporate identity is the vectorization of the construction drawings of the Albatros DIII, the single-seat biplane after which the inn was named in 1920. The aircraft cross-sections were used as a stylistic device for backgrounds in print designs, as an animated element in interactive job ads for social media, and as a decorative element on the menu. Guests of the restaurant have singled out the cross-section graphics on the menu for particular praise. The logo was provided in several variants, and the corporate identity was consistently defined with fonts, colors, and illustrations. ### Menu as a cloud document and animated elements for social media The menu was designed so that it can be edited at any time by the restaurant owner himself as a cloud document via Google Docs, without depending on the agency. The vectorized construction drawings of the Albatros DIII also serve as an animated style element in interactive job ads for social media.
