During this time, the online shop was awarded the Shop Usability Award, the highest German award for online shops, in the category “Food & Drink” twice (in 2016 and 2017). In 2023, a major relaunch took place with a new user interface, improved user experience, optimized on-page quality, and the current PrestaShop version 8 (including the migration of all old data). ### Functionality meets fresh design. The online shop was set up using the Prestashop shopping system. This ensures that the orders and payments for the items function properly. To enable the correct delivery of goods, we also integrated the shop with the delivery service DHL. This **relaunch for the modernization of an online fish shop** brought a complete visual transformation. The fact that the shop is based on an already existing CMS is not apparent in the frontend: Our designers developed unique modules for each section of the pages, which we ultimately created and filled with appropriate content. For example, we created a module that provides an overview of the most important categories, and a completely new page that showcases fish recipes from social media influencers. ### Online shop from A to Z In addition to modernizing the design and developing the portal, we also supported the project in many other aspects. All pages were technically optimized for search engines. Fish recipes, blog articles, and products were revised. An animated video was created to represent the shipping process.
