After the big relaunch in 2021, where we completely redesigned TutKit.com's user experience and developed it with the PHP framework Laravel, further sprints for performance and OnPage improvements (SEO) followed. 2023 then saw the latest conceptual development. Our content, which was previously only available as a flat rate via a subscription membership, has also been available as a single purchase variant since the middle of the year. TutKit.com thus offers a combination of subscription & e-commerce with new content produced or licensed by us every week. As of July 2023, TutKit.com lists over 800 products with tens of thousands of individual pieces of content around tutorials, assets and design templates.

An account with full access to all our store content?! We were asked for it again and again. So we started 2015 as a streaming provider for our video trainings and download flat rate for the templates and assets. TutKit.com became our subscription commerce platform and since then our customers have the possibility to get our video tutorials, assets and design templates per membership. From the beginning a successful model, which quickly convinced hundreds to thousands of interested people.

With 4eck Media GmbH & Co. KG, founded in 2010, we entered the agency business. An enormous advantage for our customers: All the experience and learning from our own projects, we bring since then directly into the customer projects. Whether graphic design and layout, web design and development or digital marketing - through our own portals, we know what actually works, and transfer this practical know-how for the success of our customers. From modern onepagers to extensive online stores, we were allowed to implement numerous projects for small, medium and large companies in the meantime.

Due to the great interest in our video trainings on PSD-Tutorials.de around Photoshop, InDesign and Co. we decided to offer the content in our own online store - our entry into the e-commerce business! At that time we were still selling DVDs and thus learned how the marketing, distribution and sale of "real" products via the web works. One of our core competencies, which we now bring into our customers' projects: e-commerce. Since 2012 we have been offering the content in digital form for download - the constantly growing product portfolio now includes over 800 items.

With Commag, we created a free online magazine for image editing and web design. The initially narrow e-paper morphed into an e-book of over a hundred pages, which reinvented itself again and again in layout and design. When interest in the format of a PDF magazine waned due to changing consumer behavior, we finally discontinued it. After all, from an entrepreneurial point of view, when the effort no longer justifies the benefit, you have to let go of even the dearest enthusiast projects. What remains is a success story of over 10 years, with over 125 issues and up to 10,000 readers per issue.

On 20.12.2002 Stefan Petri took PSD-Tutorials.de online and thus set the cornerstone for our digital enterprise. In the course of time, more than 850,000 people registered in the specialist forum. After more than 20 years - and many relaunches over time - PSD-Tutorials.de still represents one of the largest specialist forums for topics related to design, photography and image processing in the German-speaking world. May the great age of forums be over because of social media, PSD-Tutorials.de will continue to be maintained and serviced by 4eck Media.
