The Ratskeller Waren (Müritz) is a culinary authority on the Müritz, the brewery inn already looks back on a history dating back to 1699. While the guest rooms and the food tie in with this long tradition, the website should reflect this history in a modern way as part of the corporate communication.
For the web design, we followed the existing corporate design of the interior design and the menu and combined this retro-chic with a modern user guidance and customer approach. Interested parties can now find mobile optimized information about the inn, the menu, the apartments and much more. Especially the up-to-dateness of the menu brought a lot of positive feedback from customers.
The website, although developed with the CMS WordPress, comes completely without cookie banners for the website visitors. As a result, the visitor is also not greeted with an annoying cookie hint banner, which is only clicked away anyway and regularly causes the first frustration during a website visit. Why does the owner do without the cookie banner: because no one has previously evaluated the statistically collected data anyway :-).
For Ratskeller Waren, a map was specially illustrated for the footer area of the website, on the one hand to ensure the client's corporate design in this element as well. On the other hand, the map is linked to Google Maps. The click leads there. If, on the other hand, the Google Maps had been integrated directly, Google would have set a cookie. Thus, the illustrative map is more user-friendly and simply also much prettier to look at. In this way, the design of the website is also reflected in the cartography.
