A new hotel was recently built in Klink an der Müritz. The owner was looking for an agency to professionally establish the new hotel brand at an early stage of construction, while also designing all digital and print media. Thus, we accompanied the project "Sea You" from the beginning in conception and design, gave it a tourist-appealing design and brought it to life.

In the context of tourism marketing, a hotel should develop a clear message to highlight its strengths and advantages. It should offer an appealing online presence, ensure excellent on-site service and take into account the needs of its target audience. This is exactly what the operators of Sea You achieved - and we had the opportunity to support the development of the hotel brand as well as the digital and print media with our professional skills.

In addition to a balanced color combination of golden yellow and matte cornflower blue, the logo of "Sea You" also shows the topographical peculiarity on site. The hotel is perfectly located between two lakes and offers itself as a new focal point for those seeking relaxation on the Mritz. The combination of elegant and minimalist fonts adds the finishing touch to the look of the new hotel brand.

Modern hotel website

In its modern and elegant online presence, the hotel understands exactly how it wants to appeal to its desired guests. Through high-quality photos of the exclusive rooms, culinary delicacies and the pleasant atmosphere of the wellness area, the website targets a demanding vacation group. The high usability of the hotel website entices visitors to book. Tasty pictures for the restaurant were created by us as well as some photo shoots. As with all our other client projects, we created an illustrative map and also created custom icons.

What is important for hotels to use tourism marketing properly?

When it comes to tourism marketing, it's crucial for a hotel to develop a holistic strategy that addresses the needs and expectations of potential guests. Here are eight aspects that, in our agency experience, are important for hoteliers, vacation rental owners and guesthouse operators:

  1. Target group analysis: the hotel should understand exactly what type of guests it wants to target. This can be done based on factors such as demographic characteristics, travel preferences, budget and interests. And so, on the one hand, it should align the property, the rooms and the amenities, but also the communicative and visual approach via digital and print media. At Sea You, it becomes immediately clear that an upscale clientele is part of the target group.
  2. Differentiation and unique selling points: A hotel must clearly communicate what sets it apart from other hotels. These can be unique amenities, special services, location advantages or a special design. Sea You offers not only an excellent location but also a very stylish design, which will be particularly popular with the target group.
  3. Online presence and booking platforms: A strong online presence optimized for PageSpeed and SEO (OnPage factors) is essential. The hotel should have a user-friendly website that provides relevant information, high-quality photos, virtual tours, and easy booking options to target vacation seekers to book or contact. It should also be represented on booking platforms, since many vacation seekers no longer look for suitable accommodation via Google, but directly via Booking, Airbnb and Co.
  4. Reviews and reputation management: Guest reviews have a significant influence on the decisions of potential guests. Positive reviews on Google are also a lever in online visibility The hotel should strive for positive service and guest satisfaction and actively respond to reviews to gain the trust of guests - especially in the response to negative reviews is an opportunity to position themselves as a professional provider. The Google company profile has also already been set up for Sea You and the first positive reviews have already been received. Thanks to the monitoring of online visibility via Google Search Console, the first visibility jumps have also already been recorded.
  5. Events and packages: The hotel can offer special events, deals and packages to appeal to different target groups. This can include seasonal discounts, spa packages, wedding arrangements, bike and boat tours, or business travel packages.
  6. Local partnerships: Collaborations with local attractions, restaurants or venues can create a win-win situation and offer guests a more complete experience. Collaborations with the Mritzeum and other "bad weather spots" are particularly useful here.
  7. Visual and communicative content: High-quality photos, videos and virtual tours of the hotel and rooms are important to attract potential guests. Compelling descriptions of the amenities and location are also critical. Sea You features a really appealing external presentation here that makes people want to book.
  8. Customer Service: Excellent customer service before, during and after the stay is essential. Satisfied guests are more likely to give positive reviews and recommend the hotel to their friends and family. Why not send customers an automated PDF with excursion destinations before the start of the trip and a download link with aerial and panoramic photos of the hotel and the region after the vacation, since some vacationers may also want to make photo books about their vacation. Vacationers will gladly acknowledge this with a positive review.

In the conclusion Sea You points now to:

  • a clear target group approach
  • a modern, inviting hotel brand including professional digital and print media
  • a fast, mobile- and SEO-optimized website (without cookie nonsense)
  • professional photos of hotel, restaurant, rooms, apartments
  • tasteful pictures of the dishes
  • and many other positive aspects that are important for tourism marketing
