The Brief
With more than 30 years of experience, Medizintechnik Kaminski stands for expertise in medical technology – with locations in Kiel and Neustrelitz. For this company, we delivered a WordPress relaunch: a new website that is modern, user-friendly, and technically at a high level. In the first viewport, a video loop welcomes visitors and gives the site a dynamic entrance. In cooperation with a photographer, professional images and an image film were produced that give the site a personal touch and underline the company’s expertise.
Video loop, performance, and cookie-free design: technically well thought out
Despite using a video loop and animations in the first viewport, PageSpeed scores were kept at a strong level – a technical challenge we solved deliberately. The design runs entirely without a cookie banner: the site is implemented cookie-free, which keeps the user experience uninterrupted and meets data-protection requirements. Small, subtle animations deliver a smooth experience without visually overloading the page. The video loop in the first viewport is integrated so that it immediately draws the visitor in without compromising the page’s load times. The result is a web presence that is visually compelling and technically stable.
Custom icons and illustrated map design for both locations
For the locations in Kiel and Neustrelitz, we developed hand-illustrated location maps that pick up the corporate design of the site and improve orientation for visitors. The maps are complemented by custom-designed icons that structure the company’s service areas visually and fit seamlessly into the overall design. The icons support user guidance and give the site a consistent visual language. In cooperation with a photographer, professional images and an image film were produced that build trust and showcase Medizintechnik Kaminski’s expertise.
