Four locations, one strong digital identity

For Cottbus Apotheken, we built a shared digital umbrella brand for four owner-operated locations: with custom-made illustrations, bespoke icons, a hand-designed city map, and a careers section with a low application barrier. The Brief

Four pharmacies in Cottbus, four locations, four logos, but no shared digital identity. The pharmacies were locally established and professionally outstanding; what was missing was a unifying umbrella brand and a website that makes this structure visible. We developed a strategically designed website with custom illustrations, a bespoke icon world, a hand-designed city map, and a careers section. The goal: turn four established locations into a strong digital unit, without losing each pharmacy’s individuality.

Instead of standard stock photos, an independent style emerged: a warm, friendly color palette, custom-made illustrations as a recurring motif, individually developed icons, and calm typography with a clear hierarchy. Instead of a generic Google embed, a custom city map with all four locations was developed, combining brand consistency, higher visual quality, and clear location messaging. The careers section was given strategic priority: clear advantages over pharmacy chains, authentic imagery, a sense of team, and a low application barrier position the pharmacies as an attractive employer. Separate location pages give each of the four sites its own digital presence within the shared umbrella brand.

PageSpeed 95, Seobility 97, LLM optimization, and structured data for Cottbus

The website achieves a Seobility score of 97, a mobile PageSpeed score of 95, and a security rating of A+ on the SecurityHeaders standard. Accessibility is implemented to WCAG standards. For local visibility, structured data, separate location pages, and targeted optimization for the search term „Apotheke Cottbus“ were implemented. FAQ sections were structured for AI visibility in LLM systems, so content can be correctly captured and surfaced in AI responses. The goal is sustainable regional dominance in local competition against pharmacy chains.
