Rebranding & Relaunch for ELBMED Prignitz
Since February 2022, we have been supporting the Prignitz regional hospital in Perleberg through a comprehensive rebranding and website relaunch. The new brand name ELBMED Prignitz was registered as a trademark in 2022, accompanied by a minimalist logo, a corporate design in green, light blue, and dark blue, and a fully restructured WordPress MultiSite. 200 subpages were condensed into 100 clearly grouped pages. In the first quarter of 2025, five additional websites will be integrated into the system.
From 200 to 100 pages: structured, thought through, and user-centered
The hospital’s previous website was analyzed, broken down into its parts, and fully reconceived. The structure was planned via a Google Sheet, then visualized in MIRO and organized into content clusters. This led to 57 clickable wireframes, which formed the basis for a final UX prototype with 71 artboards. In close coordination rounds with the various clinics, chief physicians, and nursing management, the concept was refined step by step. The new site offers improved navigation with different menus, a body compass, and a digital patient guidance system that mirrors the color-coding used inside the hospital on the website. This is complemented by modern appointment management and a comprehensive careers section with an application form.
MultiSite system, PageSpeed, and trade-show equipment: all from a single source
The site is built as a WordPress MultiSite system through which all websites of the ELBMED group will in future be managed via a shared backend: the School for Healthcare Professions, the senior centers in Wittenberge and Perleberg, the obesity center, and the Gesundheitszentrum Wittenberge. Particular attention was paid to high on-page quality and optimal PageSpeed. In parallel with the website relaunch, we designed high-quality trade-show equipment for the ELBMED School for Healthcare Professions: a trade-show cube, two roll-ups, and a large trade-show wall. The design consistently carries over the brand’s color world and corporate design and positions the school as an attractive training location for specialists.
