Goldmichi is a second-generation precious metals dealer from Rostock. Michael Bastian wanted an online shop that lives up to his personal standards: trust, transparency, and fair terms on every product. The special challenge lies in the day-to-day business. Precious metal prices fluctuate by the minute; the shop has to reflect current market prices to the minute while still loading fast. We developed the design, shop system, price feed, and SEO completely from scratch. ### Live price system for gold, silver, platinum, and palladium

The core of Goldmichi.de is its connection to current precious metal prices. Every five minutes, market data for gold, silver, platinum, and palladium is imported and applied to the entire product catalog. To keep the shop fast despite frequent price changes, we developed a multi-level caching strategy. Static content is cached aggressively, dynamic price areas are invalidated in a targeted way, and bestseller lists are pre-rendered server-side. The result: customers always see the current daily price, and the site still responds in milliseconds. The online shop thus combines the requirements of classic e-commerce with the volatility of real commodity markets.

### Accessibility, security, and optimization for search engines and AI

Goldmichi.de is implemented accessibly per the WCAG standard and security-tested. All headers, connections, and encryption comply with current best practices. Structured data describes products, prices, availability, and the over-the-counter business in Rostock in machine-readable form. This lets Google cleanly index every single gold coin, every silver bar, and every buyback offer. At the same time, AI agents such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini understand what Goldmichi stands for and what the terms look like. We implemented targeted keyword optimization for search terms such as buying gold in Rostock, buying silver coins, gold buyback, and buying precious metals anonymously, and positioned the shop for investment gold and over-the-counter trading.
