## The brief

                        

At the beginning of 2026, we started developing the website and online shop for Goldmichi. The brief was for a website that brings the personal business of the Rostock precious metals dealer online: with a clearly organised product range, informative product pages and automatic price integration. With precious metals in particular, a manually maintained price quickly becomes outdated. That is why regular updates based on stock exchange prices were one of the core requirements from the outset.

                    
                
            
        
    

    
        
            
                                    

### Automatic prices every ten minutes

Gold, silver, platinum and palladium have one thing in common: their prices move. For Goldmichi, we therefore developed an integration that updates the product prices every ten minutes based on market prices. The dealer does not have to update these changes manually in every single item. For visitors, price movements become tangible directly on the website: a bar shows the four metal prices in euros per troy ounce, together with a timestamp. A countdown shows when the next price update is due.

### A shop that puts a face to the dealer

Black surfaces, gold accents and large product images define the look. In the shop, metal and price filters as well as sorting options help visitors make their choice. On the product pages, weight, availability and technical data are provided alongside the images. At the same time, Michael Bastian remains present as the contact person. Information on buy-back, over-the-counter trading and contact connects the online shop with the bricks-and-mortar business in Rostock. In this way, the website leads from the first browse to a purchase or personal advice.
