After more than 1.5 years of cooperation, I too can wholeheartedly recommend 4eck Media. They deliver what they promise: on time, reliably and in an absolutely convincing quality.
In this blog post we want to summarize a few works with a focus on print design for clients. Look forward to the small work show for professional flyers, high-quality exposés and image brochures, creative coloring books and illustrative print media.
Print designs for Mandt Büroorganisation GmbH in Neubrandenburg
Especially the color combination of dark gray, green and white let the design elements shine modern, clear and competent. Both the websites and print products such as the image brochure, coloring book, postcard or job ad layout are therefore not stingy with large-scale color backgrounds to further emphasize this contrasting look.
Here you can see the image brochure, which was finalized this week and is now going to print:
The very cool coloring booklet with guaranteed puzzle fun was completed just in time for the start of the vacations in the back. Mandt is one of the largest suppliers of school supplies and with this coloring book, in addition to its already large assortment, collects further service plus points with pupils and parents.
Here you can see our postcard advertising the current school bag campaign as well as our layout for the vacant positions in the company:
Puzzles booklet and coloring book for a fish restaurant.
A very cool coloring book with guaranteed puzzle fun was finished just in time for the start of the vacations for our client Mandt Büro from Neubrandenburg - see above. We also had a similar project for a fish restaurant. The coloring book entertains the children in the restaurant in a playful way to shorten the time of waiting.
Print products for Marina Eldenburg
We have realized several print projects for Marina Eldenburg. Three of them are as follows. First, the redesign and layout of the vacation brochure. Then a folding flyer as well as a poster.
In addition, we developed a 24-page booklet for Marina Eldenburg. Marina Eldenburg offers vacation homes and a marina at the gateway to the Müritz. The vacation resort is located between Müritz and Kölpinsee in a very quiet bay, ideal as a starting point for a vacation in the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District. To make the different services transparent, we designed a 24-page booklet - here in the digital mockup view.
Image brochure for IGN Architects
We designed an image brochure especially for a focus competence of the engineers and architects of IGN Waren. This forms a print option for addressing new interested parties and potential customers in a target group-focused manner. On 16 pages in a handy landscape format, the brochure provides insight into the urban planning process by IGN.
Cross flyer, wrap-around flyer and real estate exposé
In northeastern Germany, an impressive real estate project has been developed in an exclusive idyll between the Baltic Sea and the Bodden on a narrow headland. On the peninsula Fischland-Darß-Zingst, the historical former maritime school Wustrow was revitalized. For this project we were engaged for a variety of marketing and sales activities. In this blog post, we would like to present the first fruits of our labor and give you a versatile insight into print and digital for the project.
If you click through the range of products offered by large online print shops, you often get tired halfway through: roll-ups here, wrap-around flyers there, and of course billboards and posters in between. Discerning customers who want to win over the viewer not only through the content of the message, but also through the medium itself, quickly reach their limits with the printed standard. Recently, we therefore realized a design concept for a large real estate developer, which not only convinces through the content and the graphic impression, but also with regard to the medium itself, we chose an extravagant design solution, which we developed: The cross folder - or also called a print-ready star flyer .
The special feature here is the cross-folding itself, which extends what is seen to the top, left and right by one page each, and of course also the considerable and impressive final size of 889 x 420 mm when unfolded. So in total there are four pages on the front of the printed sheet and another four on the back - each in DIN A4 format! The cross flyer (or also star flyer) offers enough place, in order to describe a large-scale project such as the basic reorganization of a real estate and the new building of further apartment houses in detail. To the organization: By the logical structure of the side organization and the accompanying (and conscious) view guidance the viewer is led thus step by step by the individual stages, while it is noticeable again and again, how prominent and extraordinarily striking the printed matter is nevertheless.
Folded up, the star flyer with its practical format of 297 x 210 mm fits perfectly into any DIN A4 mailing envelope, including the customer's cover letter. For a high-quality feel and texture, we used 350g/sqm professional silk paper and had the print shop coat it on all sides with a primer and finish it with a two-sided glossy film. This protects the surface and enhances the impact and brilliance of the images, which is, of course, a welcome feature. In addition, the paper gains even more grip and strength. Of course, our customer did not have to fold and shape the printed sheets himself, because the folding was professionally done by the print shop. Just as naturally, the creasing, punching and cutting of the unusual printing form.#
We are very proud of this modern and eye-catching design work and printing form, which will please our agency customer and, above all, his customers, i.e. those who will later be interested. At the same time, we will of course also design and print classic print products such as six-page folding flyers and multi-page real estate exposés for the big sales launch of the vacation apartments. This printed Kreuzflyer remains however gladly in positive memory for us.
While the cross-folders are intended for mailing to selected target customers, on-site information about the construction project will also be available at the construction sign and the construction container as well as on frequented paths in the regional environment. For this purpose, we have designed a wrap-around flyer, a large number of which will be available in flyer boxes for interested parties to take home.
Given the size of this project, it is easy to imagine that we also had our hands full. In the course of the months, numerous media for print and web were created. It was not only the content itself that was convincing; we also came up with something very special in the selection of materials and the paper formats. We recently reported on the unique eight-page cross folder in another blog article. We have now also added a forty-page real estate exposé with adhesive binding, partial relief finishing on the outer pages and transparent paper in the inner section, which shows a comprehensible before-and-after picture of the former building.
Print designs for personal trainers
We love our job. In part because we work with people who are on fire for what drives them every day. In one of our recent projects, we developed the complete branding for Sascha Serbolandi, a personal trainer and nutritionist who grew up as a track and field athlete and martial artist (taekwondo and kickboxing). In addition to the corporate identity, we designed and developed the website, business card and letterhead, as well as modern folders. How do you knock out a kickboxer? With athletic design!
For another personal trainer from the Allgäu region, we created a look that has it all in the pixels and has been gleaming in lush, fresh green since the end of March. After defining the distinctive corporate identity in all its facets, we started preparing different media for print and web. You can tell that with spring comes the awakening of the sporting spirit, because just one month earlier we realized the project of Sascha, who is also active as a personal trainer. An identical theme, two completely different approaches to elaboration. That's how diverse design is.
Flyer and manual
For the care company Mediteam, for which we were also allowed to design the new brand, we designed a modern wrap-around flyer.
We also supported a mayoral candidate in his campaign with a folding flyer:
Another folding flyer was realized for a racing team from Switzerland:
For Wogewa in Waren we realized a spiral fold flyer:
And we were also able to use our real estate expertise in the form of a flyer for the Tuchfabrik in Malchow:
Our client KMD Natursteine from Gotha advertises on their in-house website with the slogan Passions for Stones, but we know that their passion for good design is at least as high! For this very reason, we are all the more pleased that the specialist for natural stones from Gotha has taken us on board as an agency for the upcoming design assignment.
The goal was to raise the company's internal communication to a professional level and to familiarize employees with the company's guiding principles and regulations by means of various manuals. The whole thing works with minimalist manuals for employees in a flat design.
In this way, two manuals were created in Adobe InDesign, which are all of a piece and are fully oriented to the existing corporate design and identity of our client. The first manual focuses on the general rules for employees with a focus on basics, while the second manual deals with additional benefits and goodies. A great idea, in our opinion. Not only does it provide employees with practical information, but it is also attractively packaged, which promotes quick comprehension, coupled with stylish design, across all pages.
Simple graphic design and a sleek design that adheres to minimized character is incredibly important, especially for this type of information carrier. Finally, this scenario particularly demonstrates the importance of the principle form follows function. In other words, the function is in the foreground - while the design follows. Especially since no reader is helped if oversized design is used, which in the worst case scenario downright swallows up the information and makes it unreadable.
The new guide for the staff of KMD Natursteine should please everyone and we, as the implementing agency, are also very happy and satisfied with the result.
